James Pozen is an Instructor-Trainer with PPCT/HFRG.  He has 25 years experience as a P.P.C.T.  instructor.  He has over 12 years experience teaching at an MTU (Mobile Team Unit) and has experience teaching self defense classes on college campuses.  During his career, he has been a shift supervisor, field training officer, juvenile officer and defensive tactics instructor.  He has served as a guest lecturer at the U.S Air Force Academy and a Recruit Supervisor at the Illinois State Police Academy.  Sgt. Pozen has trained police officers, private security officers and civilians from all across the state.
